We seek to achieve this by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>supporting and fostering live music in Australia;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>working in partnership to develop and preserve inclusive and successful venues;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>advocating for musicians and the people who work with them to make live music;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>promoting the value that live music brings to people, culture and places; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>paying respect to and preserving the history and legacy of live music and music venues in Australia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70)\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CORE VALUES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Collaboration: <\/strong>We collaborate with venues, musicians, fans, industry organisations, government and the wider public to achieve our aims.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Celebration: <\/strong>We celebrate all types of live music, strive for a safe and inclusive scene, and respect diverse peoples, cultures and points of view.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Creativity: <\/strong>We value creativity, are open to new ideas and innovation, are adaptable and flexible in problem solving, and support people to express themselves.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Preservation:<\/strong> We value the live music history of Australia and seek to preserve that history.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70)\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">OUR CONSTITUTION<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our constitution formally sets out the purpose and objects of the foundation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The foundation engages in the following activities as a non-profit cultural organisation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>advancing the public\u2019s knowledge, enjoyment and engagement with the arts through the promotion and encouragement of live music performances at music venues;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>developing performance opportunities for local musicians, and promote attendance and participation in live music events;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>promoting safe and inclusive environments for the performance of live music;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>promoting regulatory compliance and fair pay in the live music community;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>promoting the health and safety of persons in the live music community;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>building the live music community, including by working with musicians, venue operators, government, the media and other relevant parties;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>holding, maintaining and supplying assets, including real property, for the accommodation and operation of live music venues;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>seeking and maintaining endorsement as a registered charity, cultural organisation and deductible gift recipient;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>establishing and maintaining a public fund, and inviting the public to contribute to that fund;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>raising funds by donation, subscription or otherwise for the pursuit of the objects set out in this clause; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>other activities complementary to these activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>VISION Our vision is a vibrant and inclusive live music culture across Australia, with culturally significant venues protected, musicians valued, and communities engaged.
